The 28th International Open

The 28th International Open of Cappelle la Grande will take place 3 - 10 March 2012 to the Palais des arts.

Entry fees :

Adults : 50 euros
Juniors under 20 years : 25 euros
Over 60 years : 25 euros
Free for GM et MI

The rate of play is:

· 90 minutes plus 30 seconds per move for the first 40 moves and then,
· 30 minutes plus 30 seconds per move to the end of the game.

PRIZE FUND : 30000 euros

1er PRIZE : 3000 euros ; 2ème PRIZE: 2000 euros ;

3ème PRIZE: 1500 euros ; 4ème PRIZE: 1000 euros ; 5ème PRIZE: 900 euros ;

6ème PRIZE: 850 euros; 7/10ème PRIZE: 800 euros ; 11/15ème PRIZE: 500 euros ;

16/20ème PRIZE: 300 euros ; 21/30ème PRIZE: 200 euros ; 31/40ème PRIZE: 150 euros

Rating category prize – Age category prizes
1st Female Prize : 600 euros
1st Veteran (+ 60 years) Prize : 350 euros

Prizes will only be awarded to players who attend the closing ceremony.

sunday 4 March to 14h : rounds 2
monday 5 March to 9h : rounds 3, then 16h : rounds 4

Saturday 10 March to 10h : rounds 9
Closing ceremony to 18h.
